About soryo

Born in Hachijojima, Tokyo. Born in Hachijojima, Tokyo. Moved to Tokyo to qualify as a Shinto priest, and was exposed to the culture of Ura-Harajuku.

He was influenced by the works of Tadanori Yokoo’s Museum of Contemporary Art, Ay-O’s collection of works that he got from his teacher in high school, and
the world view of RPG video games that he played when he was in the upper grades of elementary school.
In order to keep my mental health from daily stress, I have been making graphics on my iPhone since then.

July 2017
I cut out four parts from an idol’s face: the contour, the eyes, the nose, and the mouth.
